Sirena Yachts has unveiled its new flagship of 118 feet at the Cannes Yachting Festival, marking a moment of great pride for the Turkish shipyard: the delivery of the Sirena 118 represents a journey that has required many years of intense work by an international team, including world-renowned designers such as German Frers and Cor D. Rover.

With an overall length of 36 meters and a width of 7.8 meters, the yacht stands out for its exceptional presence, the generous beach club, the fold-down balconies at sea level, and the vast lounges at the bow make the most of these proportions, offering versatile spaces designed to fully enjoy life on board.

The standard engine configuration includes two MAN engines of 1,550 HP for a cruising speed of 10 knots and a maximum of 16 knots, extendable up to 18 knots with the more powerful option of 2x 1,990 HP MAN V12.
We are extremely proud to present the first Sirena 118, IKIGAI, at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, said Çağın Genç, CEO of Sirena Marine. By collaborating with our in-house team and some of the most renowned firms in the industry, we have created a yacht that extends the benefits of composite construction in the superyacht segment.

The hull design has been the subject of careful study, utilizing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to maximize efficiency, while the shape of the stern has been modeled to reduce turbulence, eliminating the need for tunnels for the propellers.
The result is an elegant, robust, reliable, and safe motor yacht, capable of navigating the world in maximum comfort,” commented German Frers. “It represents a perfect balance between performance and smooth sailing, even when beating in rough seas.”
Sirena Yachts 118, interiors by Cor D.Rover
On board, we are welcomed by a spacious aft lounge with a transitional style, minimalist aesthetics, and modern design lines with craftsmanship details that express the highest levels. Far from minimalism, this environment celebrates the richness of materials and the fusion of different eras, an eclectic taste between futurism and the past that favors nautical culture over contemporary architecture. Bold color choices like moss green, burgundy, and mustard break traditional patterns, complemented by furnishings selected from around the world.

The owner’s suite occupies the bow section of the main deck, allowing direct access to the private terrace, in the Owner Split option (two-level owner), a spiral staircase connects the suite to a private study and lounge on the lower deck where a fold-down balcony transforms the space into a sanctuary of privacy. Again, we find a bold style that blends hotel aesthetics with a nod to the elegance of a bygone era and the refinement of modern materials, evoking the luxury of early 20th-century ocean liners.

The design is centered around the theme of exploration and the worlds traversed by those who have pushed their limits,” explained Rover. “Shapes, colors, and materials evoke nailed hulls, docks, vintage portholes, and compasses, transformed into welcoming details. It is an interior that speaks of curiosity and movement.”
The sundeck offers an incredible panoramic space, all outdoor areas are not conceived as isolated zones, but as a continuous and connected ecosystem, designed to accommodate different groups of guests and moments of the day with a view to constant contact with the sea.

For us, the true uniqueness of the Sirena 118 lies in its platform, which allows for the transformation of unusual materials and bespoke details into functional and lively interiors, concluded Çağın Genç. Every yacht has its own character while remaining true to the brand’s history.

The Sirena 118 will head towards the Monaco Yacht Show, the event that from September 23 to 26 shines a spotlight on the most exclusive vessels in the world, crowning the new model as the absolute star of the scene.

Galeon Yachts is among the protagonists of the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, currently taking place in the beautiful setting of the Côte d’Azur. At the center of the scene is the new flagship of the shipyard – the Galeon 800 Fly – the ultimate expression of the shipyard’s philosophy and a new, more contemporary and versatile way of experiencing the sea.

Galeon 800 FLY, between elegance and functionality
With an overall length of 25.71 meters and a maximum width of 5.89 meters, the new Galeon 800 FLY offers volumes and atmospheres typically found in larger yachts, while maintaining a sleek and contemporary profile. The cockpit is explicitly designed for socializing, with a dining area equipped with two large tables and comfortable seating capable of accommodating up to 12 guests. Moving towards the stern, the bathing platform is served by a hydraulic system that allows for the launching and retrieval of the tender with extreme ease.

The Main Deck
Organized as an extremely elegant and functional environment. The spacious salon features a relaxation area to starboard, while to port there is a comfortable sofa, a retractable television, and a dedicated bar cabinet.
Further forward is the kitchen, fully equipped and designed to ensure a five-star service. On the opposite side, the large dining area offers a convivial space dedicated to meals and socializing. Just a few steps away, the command station for two is positioned functionally, right next to the access to the sleeping area on the lower deck. The foredeck offers a versatile outdoor space, with a U-shaped sofa and table, a large sunbathing area, and movable seating that allows for configuring the environment according to the real needs of the owner and their guests.
The flybridge
The flybridge is one of the distinctive elements of the design. The two lounge areas are a clear invitation to relax, finely furnished with sofas, a wet bar, and ample sunbathing areas. Here is the second command station, also for two, capable of offering complete visibility at 360 degrees.
A spacious VIP cabin, located at the bow and illuminated by skylights, and two guest cabins, each with an en-suite private bathroom, complete the areas dedicated to hospitality. The shipyard also provides a cabin dedicated to the crew. Every detail on board the new Galeon 800 FLY is designed to convey a sense of peace, warmth, and familiarity. On the propulsion front, the Galeon 800 FLY is equipped with two engines of 1,920 horsepower each, ensuring a maximum speed of around 31 knots.

In the Toys Area, exhibitors will bring life
Great mechanical mastery meets exclusivity in the new MAXSPOR GR8 41mm, the Swiss watchmaker KERBEDANZ signs the total redesign of its famous monopusher chronograph, resizing a timepiece without altering its essence and transforming the measurement of time into a sculptural experience to wear every day.

A dial that inverts perspectives, what strikes at first glance is the absence of the classic watch layout; instead of hiding the vital part of the movement under the case back, the artisans of Neuchâtel have flipped the internal structure: the regulating organ (i.e., balance wheel and hairspring) has been positioned directly on the front of the watch, in place of the third counter. The dynamic element thus moves in plain sight: this is supported by a three-armed bridge expertly hand-finished, according to the rules of Haute Horlogerie: anglage, sandblasted surfaces, and contrasting treatments to offer a deep dialogue between engineering and craftsmanship.

The visual contrast is immediate: on one side the energy of the mechanical movement, on the other the rigorous elegance of the guilloché work of the dial that, interacting with light, offers an elegant and sophisticated background.
The mechanical evolution of the MaxSpor GR8 41mm
Inside the case beats the automatic caliber KRB14-2, a new “heart” that has been redesigned for this brand new and elegant timepiece:
- components: 343 elements and 33 jewels
- frequency: 28,800 vibrations/hour
- power reserve: 48 hours
The internal architecture has been refined to meet the needs of a slimmer case (41 mm wide by 50 mm long), while ensuring superior chronometric performance thanks to the adoption of a balance wheel with regulating screws.
The control of the chronograph functions is entrusted to a single integrated button, a choice that preserves overall ergonomics and provides a clean and balanced aesthetic.

Designed for everyday life and every environment
Despite its refined soul, the MAXSPOR GR8 41 mm is not born as a showcase piece. The case, lightweight and durable, utilizes the properties of grade 5 titanium and is designed to ensure worry-free daily use.
Water activation – Thanks to an advanced double-seal system, the chronograph can be operated even underwater (with a guaranteed water resistance of up to 50 meters), without risking infiltration.
Stylistic versatility – A quick-release mechanism positioned on the rubber strap allows for changing the watch’s look in seconds, without the need for external tools.

KERBEDANZ, great mechanical mastery, exclusivity of the MAXSPOR GR8 41mm Monopusher
Distributed in a very limited series of just 18 or 28 pieces, depending on the version, this monopusher chronograph represents the natural and most refined evolution of its predecessor. Its true identity transcends design and dimensions: it resides in the bold spirit with which KERBEDANZ has rethought the architecture of the watch. Challenging tradition, the Maison brings the regulating organ to the forefront on the dial, giving the wearer a view of its constant heartbeat. The MAXSPOR GR8 41 mm thus ceases to be a mere measuring instrument to become a work of ingenuity designed to show us how time comes to life.

One of the most successful models from the Dutch shipyard and already a winner of important international awards, Amels 60 consolidates its position in the segment of 60 meters with the sale of a new specimen. It is called Project Vogue, is currently under construction in the Netherlands, and will be delivered to its fortunate owner in 2027.

A Unique Amels 60
Project Vogue takes shape from the now-proven platform of the Amels 60 and masterfully combines the solidity of an already established project with the possibility of creating a highly customized superyacht.
With a length of 60 meters and a gross tonnage of 853 GT, the new Amels 60 Project Vogue can accommodate up to 12 guests on board, assisted by a crew of 12 people plus the captain. The naval architecture is entirely developed by Damen Yachting, while the exterior design is signed by Espen Øino.

However, the interiors designed by Laura Sessa take center stage, bringing her unmistakable Italian design language to the project. The spaces are elegant and contemporary, entirely built around the real needs and tastes of the owner.
And it is precisely the customization and the possibility of making significant interventions on the project that are one of the strengths of the Amels 60 Project Vogue, which – as expected – fully reflects the Amels Limited Editions philosophy: starting from an already consolidated design base to reduce the time and risks of a fully custom project while still allowing for ample customization margins.
A strong color base in black and white runs through all the environments, leaving room for a customized palette that harmoniously integrates into every area of the yacht.

The owner’s suite on the main deck features a private lounge that opens onto a foldable balcony, while the Main Saloon combines brushed white oak with wood treated with an antique mirror finish, creating a bright and contemporary atmosphere. Capturing attention is the dramatic staircase of the main deck, covered in Italian Foglizzo leather and made with Brazilian Lacewood by Laura Faia, which becomes the true centerpiece of the interiors.
This new sale is further confirmation of how the Amels 60 continues to meet market favor. The strength lies in the balance between the security of an already proven Amels platform and the freedom granted to owners to create a yacht with its own identity,” Rob Luijendijk, Commercial Director of Damen Yachting.

GX42 has finally touched the water. Just two years after the model was first unveiled, GX Superyachts is celebrating a major milestone with the launch of its new flagship, which will make its world debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026.

GX Superyachts is an ambitious project that combines contemporary design with long-range cruising capability and a responsible approach to yacht building. Developed by the team behind the Greenline Yachts group for the past 15 years, the GX42 brings together technology and a strong focus on propulsion efficiency and sustainability. The yacht features an advanced parallel hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system, an integrated photovoltaic system, and a high-capacity lithium battery pack, helping to reduce emissions while delivering a quieter, more comfortable onboard experience

Today is an exciting milestone for everyone involved with GX Superyachts – said shipyard owner Vladimir Zinchenko – Just two years ago, we unveiled a new and bold vision for the future of superyachts in Monaco. Seeing the first GX42 enter the water is a proof that this vision has become a reality. We look forward to presenting it to the world at the Monaco Yacht Show, right where it all began.
“The GX42 demonstrates that responsible yachting and uncompromising luxury can go hand in hand – said Maurizio Magri, CCO of GX Superyachts – With the ability to operate in zero-emission mode for up to 48 hours at anchor and reduce onboard electrical consumption by up to 45%, it offers a quieter, cleaner, and more comfortable way to experience the sea. By reducing reliance on generators, the GX42 lowers operational emissions and fuel consumption while enhancing onboard comfort, allowing owners to enjoy the sea with greater respect for the environment. Ultimately, it’s about something beyond technology: it’s about well-being. The GX42 is designed around how people want to feel onboard: with greater tranquility, enhanced comfort, and a deeper connection to the sea. A more serene, healthy, and balanced onboard experience is at the heart of this new approach to responsible luxury”.

“It is incredibly satisfying to see the GX42 exactly as we envisioned it from the first sketches – said Marco Casali, founder of Too Design * Our ambition was to create a yacht that feels timeless rather than trendy, where sustainability and elegance naturally complement each other. Seeing it leave the shipyard for the first time is a special moment for the entire design team”.

Following its launch, the GX42 will undergo sea trials before heading to Monaco for its official public debut. Visitors to the Monaco Yacht Show will be the first to discover the yacht that is ushering a new generation of responsible superyachts. The GX42 represents the first model in a range spanning from 24 to 56 meters. Combining advanced hybrid technology, smart energy management, refined Italian design, and real long-range cruising capability, GX Superyachts continues its course to become a new benchmark for sustainable luxury at sea.

THE AMERICA’S CUP turns 175 YEARS, it was in 1851, when John Cox Stevens boarded the steamboat that would take him home, across the Atlantic, to the New World, bringing with him a trophy made by the Crown jeweler R&S Garrard of Panton Street, London, not yet knowing that this trophy would mark competitive sailing for the years to come.

The legend has it that it all began on August 22, 1851 around the Isle of Wight, in Great Britain, the schooner America, representing the New York Yacht Club (NYYC) and commanded by commodore John Cox Stevens, challenged and defeated 15 British vessels in the race for the “Cup of One Hundred Guineas.” Queen Victoria, witnessing the finish and seeing America alone, reportedly asked who was in second place, receiving the famous reply: “Your Majesty, there is no second”.

In 1857, the owners of America donated the silver trophy to the New York Yacht Club, the donation was accompanied by the “Deed of Gift,” the founding document that regulates challenges and defines the Cup as a “friendly competition between nations”. From that date on, the New York Yacht Club defended the Cup with an uninterrupted dominance until 1983. In the 1930s, the massive J Class yachts raced, symbols of elegance and power, often referred to as the Golden Age. Great industrialists, bankers, and magnates of the time participated in this sporting competition, among the American defenders stood out Harold Vanderbilt; among the British challengers were the tea baronet Sir Thomas Lipton and aviation magnate Sir Thomas Sopwith.

The Historic Turning Point comes with the Australian vessel Australia II, equipped with a revolutionary winged keel and helmed by John Bertrand and Alan Bond, which in 1983, defeated the American defender Dennis Conner the ‘Mr America’s Cup’, breaking the longest winning streak in sports history. The cup flew to Australia, but soon returned to America thanks to Conner’s redemption, who after the defeat reclaimed the trophy, this time for his home club in San Diego, celebrated with a parade along Fifth Avenue in New York, the America’s Cup became a mass phenomenon and burst into everyone’s life.

*** 1995 Peter Blake with his children holding up the America’s Cup after Team New Zealand beat Dennis Conner’s USA Stars and Stripes team to win the trophy
In 2003, New Zealand ceded the Cup to Switzerland, which became the first and, to this day, the only European team to lift the trophy. Only four Nations have won in 175 Years, testament to the extreme difficulty of conquering the trophy, in over a century and a half of history only four countries have managed to lift the “Old Jug”: Switzerland – United States – Australia – New Zealand.

After defending the trophy in Valencia, Switzerland lost a bitter second ‘Deed of Gift Match’, a challenge held according to the strictest interpretations of the Deed and the Cup returned to the United States, to San Francisco. Emirates Team New Zealand was the first to achieve what had until then been considered impossible, namely sailing on foils upwind, and took what seemed an insurmountable lead of 8-2, just one race away from victory. Oracle Team USA performed a miracle, coming back from match point to win the America’s Cup 9-8. In Bermuda, the Kiwis introduced a new solution, replacing arm strength with leg power and bringing ‘cyclors’ into the Cup, already tested for the first time below deck in the 12 Metre era, inaugurating a period of unprecedented dominance in the long history of the Cup, becoming the first team to win three consecutive editions: Bermuda, Auckland, and Barcelona.

The America’s Cup Technical Evolution
From the original speeds of 8–9 knots in 1851, the foiling hulls AC75 and AC40 have surpassed 55 knots. With the return of the Youth America’s Cup and the introduction of the Women’s America’s Cup, the future of the competition aims for integration, with the expectation of mixed crews on the AC75 for the 2027 America’s Cup in Naples.

Dennis Conner, speaking about the ingredients necessary to win the America’s Cup said: “Total dedication to the commitment made. The three fundamental ingredients for winning remain the same: attitude, attitude, attitude.”

Aman at Sea reaches a significant milestone in the construction of Amangati in anticipation of its inaugural voyage scheduled for May 2027. Aman was founded in 1988 with the goal of creating a collection of intimate retreats characterized by the elegance of a bygone era combined with the pursuit of existential luxury. Its first project, Amanpuri (“place of peace”), in Phuket, Thailand, introduced a concept of wellness as a way of life, distinct from the modern lifestyle concept. Since then, Aman has expanded to include 36 resorts, hotels, and private residences of extraordinary serenity, from urban settings to remote locations, in 21 destinations worldwide.
The Aman Group has since extended its wellness–life beyond the confines of its resorts, launching Aman Skincare (2018), the Sva supplement line (2020), Aman Fine Fragrance (2020), the ready-to-wear collection The Essentials by Aman (2021), the high-performance skincare line Aman Essential Skin (2023), and Aman Interiors (2023), which offers custom furnishings inspired by the Aman world. From this philosophy of life and wellness arises Aman at Sea, which effectively extends the vision to the seas of the world through this superyacht named Amangati (which in Sanskrit means “peaceful movement”), a yacht that embodies the very essence of peace and harmony, developed in collaboration with Cruise Saudi.

Amangati will set sail for its inaugural journey on May 7, 2027, departing from Palma de Mallorca to Nice. Designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, it is currently under construction at T. Mariotti S.p.A. in Genoa. The yacht will accommodate a maximum of 94 guests in 47 spacious sea-view suites, each with a private terrace, floor-to-ceiling windows, and uninterrupted panoramic views.
The refined interiors feature natural materials such as eucalyptus wood and travertine, with all glasswork being handcrafted and sculpted. Developed over nine decks, Amangati hosts four signature restaurants, the Aman Spa (the largest in the luxury yachting sector), Selora, and La Marina with direct sea access, as well as a dedicated with a dedicated host for each suite.

Aman at Sea has unveiled the inaugural itineraries for Amangati starting in spring 2027, with the vessel’s debut season will offer Mediterranean itineraries ranging from five to eight nights, sailing along iconic coastlines and anchoring in intimate ports. Guests will feel as though they have the yacht entirely at their disposal, with floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces in every space to ensure light, openness, and a constant connection to the sea.
Life aboard Amangati seamlessly integrates total wellness as a fundamental part of the sailing experience, spread over 1,190 square meters across two decks. The Aman Spa features eight sea-view treatment suites with private terraces, outdoor showers, and hot tubs, as well as a hammam and a banya with dedicated serenity zones. Yoga, meditation, Fitness Studio, Medi Spa, and Beauty Lounge are complemented by access to the Selora Marina and Lounge, where equipment for water exploration, outdoor pools, and sun decks invite discovery.

The onboard dining is no less impressive, guided by seasonality, ingredient sourcing, and culinary tradition through a series of distinct venues: Mediterranean all-day dining at Alira, Japanese washoku cuisine and teppanyaki at Akari and Hiori, and the refined simplicity of Aman Grill. In-suite dining is available at any hour, with menus drawn directly from the yacht’s quartet of restaurants. For those who enjoy good music, there is The Jazz Club onboard, while those who prefer more relaxed environments can enjoy the Cinema and the Youth Lounge.

Aman at sea, itineraries to dream
The inaugural season of Amangati will offer an exclusive selection of journeys from five to eight nights exploring destinations rich in history: from the Roman heritage of the Dalmatian Coast to the Moorish grandeur of Mediterranean Spain and the French Riviera, coinciding with significant cultural moments, including the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix. Not to be missed is a rare passage through the historic Grand Canal of Venice, gliding past St. Mark’s Square, marking a moment of extraordinary allure.

There are four journeys available before the Atlantic crossing scheduled for November, which will depart from Malaga and reach the Caribbean: Treasures of the Aegean (October 10–18), touching the islands and ports of the Peloponnese before heading north in the Adriatic to Dubrovnik and Kotor; Italian Flavors (October 18–24), winding from Bari through the Ionian Sea to the coasts of Sicily; Coastal Attractions (October 24 – November 1), visiting Palermo, Naples, Rome, the Ligurian coast, and the French Riviera; and Western Mediterranean (November 1–8), following the Catalan and Valencian coasts down to the southern shores of Andalusia, before arriving in Malaga.

From Malaga, Amangati will then head out to the open ocean for a thirteen-night journey that will take fortunate guests through Cadiz, continuing to the island of Ponta Delgada and crossing the peace of the infinite, until witnessing the Caribbean arch rising in Antigua. A journey centered on wellness, shaped by the constant rhythm of the sea, the regenerating power of serenity, and Aman’s holistic vision, a true state of living with the now rare luxury of uninterrupted time.
