Zeelander Yachts delivers another Zeelander 5
Zeelander 5, a dangerously seductive and extremely powerful yacht, where its Bentley-inspired metallic paint shines in all its glory. Perfectly matched to the owner’s car and airplane, the Light Gazelle finish ranges from shades of gray to bronze, giving the yacht a unique personality.

Each Zeelander is custom-made with meticulous attention to detail and material perfection, this latest delivery perfectly exemplifies these values that have always characterized the shipyard. With an interior and exterior style resulting from a close collaboration between Zeelander’s in-house design team and the studio chosen by the owner.

“Although our Zeelander 5 is a widely tested platform around the world, no two yachts are the same”, stated Sietse Koopmans, Founder and President of Zeelander. “This latest project required careful matching of colors and materials with the owner’s favorite luxury brands and supercars, to create powerful yet coherent interiors”.

Zeelander 5, the interiors
The owner is highly motivated to pilot the vessel, without the distraction of a crew. The layout of the spaces therefore focuses on the large owner’s cabin, positioned in the center of the boat, where it utilizes the full width (beam) of 4.2 meters and the quietest position on board. An additional double guest cabin at the bow offers extremely comfortable berths without disturbing the owner’s privacy.
The connection with Hermès is evident throughout the yacht, where the brand’s famous orange becomes a dominant theme that contrasts with the more subdued palette of floors, furnishings, and upholstery; however, the most striking element is the vibrant Corian countertop that runs along the starboard side of the main salon.
An extraordinarily dynamic yet whisper-quiet drive. The powerful Volvo IPS propulsion allows for a top speed of 40 knots, ensuring intuitive maneuverability through joystick control. The acoustic insulation standards, which set a benchmark for the entire industry, allow for conversations on board at a completely natural tone of voice even at maximum speed.

“We deeply appreciate that truly unique interaction that comes from working with visionary owners, leaders in their respective fields”, Koopmans stated. “In this case, the owner already has a much larger yacht and boasts extensive experience regarding the details of life on board. We have been in contact for over three years to perfect this project. It is precisely this that makes every yacht we build both a unique collaboration and a highly sought-after possession”.
