Simena, sustainability and great autonomy

The 62-meter ketch has already recorded approximately 3,250 nautical miles in the Mediterranean during its first season and continues its navigation, with possible stops in Portofino and northern Sardinia for the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, scheduled from September 6 to 12, before heading to the Monaco Yacht Show, where it is set to be one of the largest sailing yachts on display.

During this first Mediterranean season, SIMENA has stopped in Monaco, Genoa, Palma de Mallorca, Saint-Tropez, and Imperia. The sailing yacht notably made a non-stop crossing of 1,200 nautical miles between Fethiye and Monaco, an offshore route of about 400 nautical miles between the Strait of Messina and Cape Corsica, as well as a high-seas crossing of about 380 nautical miles between Cythera (Kythira) and the Strait of Messina. The yacht allows for silent electric navigation (powered by onboard generators) at a speed of about 8 knots, with an estimated range of nearly 6,000 nautical miles. Powered by its MAN diesel engine, the yacht reaches a maximum speed of 14 knots and offers an operational range of 4,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 11 knots.
