Videoworks signs the digital transformation of a superyacht

Videoworks has curated an important refit intervention dedicated to the audiovisual systems and connectivity on board the motor yacht Eleni, 60 meters (CRN), at the AMICO & CO shipyard in Genoa.

The vessel is engaged in charter activities, and Videoworks has made a significant technological upgrade aimed at enhancing the guest experience and the quality of onboard entertainment, bringing all systems up to the most advanced standards, an innovative transformation tailored for the sector.

All outdoor areas dedicated to guests, from the beach area to the main deck, to the jacuzzi area and the bar, have been renewed in terms of audio. Speakers and amplification have been replaced with state-of-the-art systems, ensuring superior sound quality and uniform coverage in all open-air spaces.

“The new multi-zone audio distribution system allows guests to listen to music independently in different areas or to synchronize playback throughout the yacht thanks to the Party Mode. Additionally, through Sonos and AirPlay technology, it is easy to stream music content directly from personal devices, offering a simple, intuitive, and perfectly suited experience for both private navigation and charter use“, says Riccardo Marzioli, System Engineer at Videoworks and project manager.

Videoworks conducted a detailed analysis of the Wi-Fi coverage on board, identifying areas where the signal was less effective. Based on the findings, new access points were installed, eliminating dead zones and ensuring a stable, high-performance connection throughout the yacht’s spaces. To further enhance comfort and privacy, dedicated networks for individual cabins were also created, allowing each guest to enjoy personalized streaming services and an independent digital experience.
