AMAN AT SEA presents Amangati, the dimension of wellness

Aman at Sea reaches a significant milestone in the construction of Amangati in anticipation of its inaugural voyage scheduled for May 2027. Aman was founded in 1988 with the goal of creating a collection of intimate retreats characterized by the elegance of a bygone era combined with the pursuit of existential luxury. Its first project, Amanpuri (“place of peace”), in Phuket, Thailand, introduced a concept of wellness as a way of life, distinct from the modern lifestyle concept. Since then, Aman has expanded to include 36 resorts, hotels, and private residences of extraordinary serenity, from urban settings to remote locations, in 21 destinations worldwide.

The Aman Group has since extended its wellnesslife beyond the confines of its resorts, launching Aman Skincare (2018), the Sva supplement line (2020), Aman Fine Fragrance (2020), the ready-to-wear collection The Essentials by Aman (2021), the high-performance skincare line Aman Essential Skin (2023), and Aman Interiors (2023), which offers custom furnishings inspired by the Aman world. From this philosophy of life and wellness arises Aman at Sea, which effectively extends the vision to the seas of the world through this superyacht named Amangati (which in Sanskrit means “peaceful movement”), a yacht that embodies the very essence of peace and harmony, developed in collaboration with Cruise Saudi.

Amangati will set sail for its inaugural journey on May 7, 2027, departing from Palma de Mallorca to Nice. Designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, it is currently under construction at T. Mariotti S.p.A. in Genoa. The yacht will accommodate a maximum of 94 guests in 47 spacious sea-view suites, each with a private terrace, floor-to-ceiling windows, and uninterrupted panoramic views.

The refined interiors feature natural materials such as eucalyptus wood and travertine, with all glasswork being handcrafted and sculpted. Developed over nine decks, Amangati hosts four signature restaurants, the Aman Spa (the largest in the luxury yachting sector), Selora, and La Marina with direct sea access, as well as a dedicated with a dedicated host for each suite.

Aman at Sea has unveiled the inaugural itineraries for Amangati starting in spring 2027, with the vessel’s debut season will offer Mediterranean itineraries ranging from five to eight nights, sailing along iconic coastlines and anchoring in intimate ports. Guests will feel as though they have the yacht entirely at their disposal, with floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces in every space to ensure light, openness, and a constant connection to the sea.

Life aboard Amangati seamlessly integrates total wellness as a fundamental part of the sailing experience, spread over 1,190 square meters across two decks. The Aman Spa features eight sea-view treatment suites with private terraces, outdoor showers, and hot tubs, as well as a hammam and a banya with dedicated serenity zones. Yoga, meditation, Fitness Studio, Medi Spa, and Beauty Lounge are complemented by access to the Selora Marina and Lounge, where equipment for water exploration, outdoor pools, and sun decks invite discovery.

The onboard dining is no less impressive, guided by seasonality, ingredient sourcing, and culinary tradition through a series of distinct venues: Mediterranean all-day dining at Alira, Japanese washoku cuisine and teppanyaki at Akari and Hiori, and the refined simplicity of Aman Grill. In-suite dining is available at any hour, with menus drawn directly from the yacht’s quartet of restaurants. For those who enjoy good music, there is The Jazz Club onboard, while those who prefer more relaxed environments can enjoy the Cinema and the Youth Lounge.

Aman at sea, itineraries to dream

The inaugural season of Amangati will offer an exclusive selection of journeys from five to eight nights exploring destinations rich in history: from the Roman heritage of the Dalmatian Coast to the Moorish grandeur of Mediterranean Spain and the French Riviera, coinciding with significant cultural moments, including the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix. Not to be missed is a rare passage through the historic Grand Canal of Venice, gliding past St. Mark’s Square, marking a moment of extraordinary allure.

There are four journeys available before the Atlantic crossing scheduled for November, which will depart from Malaga and reach the Caribbean: Treasures of the Aegean (October 10–18), touching the islands and ports of the Peloponnese before heading north in the Adriatic to Dubrovnik and Kotor; Italian Flavors (October 18–24), winding from Bari through the Ionian Sea to the coasts of Sicily; Coastal Attractions (October 24 – November 1), visiting Palermo, Naples, Rome, the Ligurian coast, and the French Riviera; and Western Mediterranean (November 1–8), following the Catalan and Valencian coasts down to the southern shores of Andalusia, before arriving in Malaga.

From Malaga, Amangati will then head out to the open ocean for a thirteen-night journey that will take fortunate guests through Cadiz, continuing to the island of Ponta Delgada and crossing the peace of the infinite, until witnessing the Caribbean arch rising in Antigua. A journey centered on wellness, shaped by the constant rhythm of the sea, the regenerating power of serenity, and Aman’s holistic vision, a true state of living with the now rare luxury of uninterrupted time.
