Greenline 42 heads to Fort Lauderdale for US debut

Greenline Yachts will present the brand new Greenline 42 at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2026, marking the highly anticipated debut of the model in the United States and introducing a new generation of comfortable and efficient boating to the American market.

«Fort Lauderdale is the ideal setting for the American debut of the Greenline 42», said Global Business Director Alessandro Lorenzon. «The United States represents an important market for Greenline and we are excited to bring the 42 to Fort Lauderdale. This yacht combines the most appreciated qualities by our owners — exceptional comfort, intelligent use of space, efficient navigation, and advanced energy management — with a fresh and contemporary design. We look forward to welcoming customers and the boating community on board.»

The Greenline 42 consolidates the successful collaboration between Greenline Yachts and designer Marco Casali, whose work on the Greenline 58 has helped define the new stylistic direction of the shipyard. Casali has introduced a refined touch of Italian style to the exteriors while enhancing life on board with details inspired by larger models, including the cozy bow lounge.

«When we gathered feedback from our owners, several priorities clearly emerged, explained Lorenzon. They wanted a more spacious cockpit for relaxation, superior engine performance, and a more contemporary aesthetic. The Greenline 42 meets all these needs while staying true to the DNA that has made Greenline successful.»

The approach of Greenline to energy management remains the beating heart of the 42. Ten integrated solar panels can generate up to 4.5 kW of power, powering a standard service battery pack of 22 kWh, expandable up to 66 kWh. In favorable conditions, the solar system can sustain the yacht’s hotel loads — including air conditioning, refrigeration, induction cooking, and device charging — allowing owners to enjoy quiet moments at anchor without having to turn on the generator.

The Greenline 42 is available with dual Yanmar diesel engines of 250 HP or with Greenline’s H-Drive 6G hybrid propulsion system. In hybrid mode, the yacht can cruise in perfect silence at up to 6.5 knots, while the system regenerates energy while cruising on diesel. The new hull designed by Micad allows for a maximum speed of 25 knots, while improving efficiency and stability.
