Sirena Yachts unveils its 118-foot flagship at the Cannes Yachting Festival
Sirena Yachts has unveiled its new flagship of 118 feet at the Cannes Yachting Festival, marking a moment of great pride for the Turkish shipyard: the delivery of the Sirena 118 represents a journey that has required many years of intense work by an international team, including world-renowned designers such as German Frers and Cor D. Rover.
With an overall length of 36 meters and a width of 7.8 meters, the yacht stands out for its exceptional presence, the generous beach club, the fold-down balconies at sea level, and the vast lounges at the bow make the most of these proportions, offering versatile spaces designed to fully enjoy life on board.
The standard engine configuration includes two MAN engines of 1,550 HP for a cruising speed of 10 knots and a maximum of 16 knots, extendable up to 18 knots with the more powerful option of 2x 1,990 HP MAN V12.

By collaborating with our in-house team and some of the most renowned firms in the industry, we have created a yacht that extends the benefits of composite construction in the superyacht segment.
The hull design has been the subject of careful study, utilizing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to maximize efficiency, while the shape of the stern has been modeled to reduce turbulence, eliminating the need for tunnels for the propellers.

On board, we are welcomed by a spacious aft lounge with a transitional style, minimalist aesthetics, and modern design lines with craftsmanship details that express the highest levels. Far from minimalism, this environment celebrates the richness of materials and the fusion of different eras, an eclectic taste between futurism and the past that favors nautical culture over contemporary architecture. Bold color choices like moss green, burgundy, and mustard break traditional patterns, complemented by furnishings selected from around the world.
The owner’s suite occupies the bow section of the main deck, allowing direct access to the private terrace, in the Owner Split option (two-level owner), a spiral staircase connects the suite to a private study and lounge on the lower deck where a fold-down balcony transforms the space into a sanctuary of privacy. Again, we find a bold style that blends hotel aesthetics with a nod to the elegance of a bygone era and the refinement of modern materials, evoking the luxury of early 20th-century ocean liners.
The design is centered around the theme of exploration and the worlds traversed by those who have pushed their limits,” explained Rover. “Shapes, colors, and materials evoke nailed hulls, docks, vintage portholes, and compasses, transformed into welcoming details. It is an interior that speaks of curiosity and movement.”
The sundeck offers an incredible panoramic space, all outdoor areas are not conceived as isolated zones, but as a continuous and connected ecosystem, designed to accommodate different groups of guests and moments of the day with a view to constant contact with the sea.
For us, the true uniqueness of the Sirena 118 lies in its platform, which allows for the transformation of unusual materials and bespoke details into functional and lively interiors, concluded Çağın Genç. Every yacht has its own character while remaining true to the brand’s history.
The Sirena 118 will head towards the Monaco Yacht Show, the event that from September 23 to 26 shines a spotlight on the most exclusive vessels in the world, crowning the new model as the absolute star of the scene.
